Looking for answers?

Well, you’ve come to the right place. Kind of. Welcome to the Rumor Mill - Concert Edition. This is the place where fans like you can find answers (sort of) to the following urgent questions:
Is it true?
Is it true?!

OK, let’s begin . . .

Question 1: Velvet Revolver has announced the release date of their second studio album. Is it true?

Answer: Oh yeah, it’s true. The iconic rock supergroup will drop their forthcoming album, Libertad - which features their latest single, “She Builds Quick Machines” - on July 3rd, 2007. Mark that date, head-bangers.

Question 2: Alice in Chains is back in the studio, working on new material. Is it true?

Answer: According to the Alice in Chains Web site, it is. The Seattle rock band hasn’t released any new studio material since their 1995 self-titled album. With that said, bring it on.

Question 3: The Velvet Revolver Alice in Chains Tour 2007 will be announced soon. Is it true?

Answer: Rumors have been swirling around the mill about this much-anticipated Velvet Revolver / Alice in Chains mega-tour for some time now. Although no official announcement has been made yet, one thing is certain - both Velvet Revolver and Alice in Chains will be performing in concert together on August 18th at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, New York. Fans can get their Velvet Revolver Alice in Chains Tickets now at TickCo.com. That’s it from the Rumor Mill.

Im a huge AIC fan and didnt want to here anyone but Layne front the band. I decided to check them out live last November. They kicked my A_SSSS. They put on a great show. So good Im going to see them again in Buffalo 8/16, which is about a 4 hour trek, just to see them.

Waiting to see what the New Album sounds like and Ill probably be the first in line to buy it when its released.

OH, and if you cant wait for the new album check out Cantrell solo Degridation Trip Vol.1 and 2. Kicks major but, deep, dark, heavy and from another world. My all time favorite guitar player.

    Nuff said
