Ultimate Fighting Championship, Taking Over!
June 24th, 2009 Posted by: Senorita Queso Tronca
The Ultimate Fighting Championship organization is planning 3 huge events within the next few months. UFC 100, 101 and 102 tickets are all on sale now. These matches will also be shown on Pay-Per-View. I have been lucky enough to check out a couple PPV fights with friends and family. We usually make an entire night of the UFC fights, with snacks and plenty of drinks for everyone!
UFC 100 is right around the corner. The bell will toll on Saturday July 11th at Mandalay Bay Resort Event Center in fabulous Las Vegas. Fight time is scheduled for 5:00pm. The 100 fight card is shaping up quite nicely, with the main ticket featuring Brock Lesnar versus Frank Mir. This rematch is going down in the books and the hype surrounding the fight is out of control.
St. Pierre versus Alves will battle for the UFC Welterweight Championship. Welterweight matches are always thrilling, probably my favorite division to watch. The Henderson versus Bisping match will also take place at UFC 100. These two talented fighters also happen to be coaches. The winner of the Henderson vs. Bisping match will have the opportunity for a Championship title match against Anderson Silva.
UFC 101 Declaration Will be hosted at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on August 8th. The fights are scheduled to begin at 7:00pm sharp. B.J . Penn and Kenny Florian will meet in the ring for a lightweight UFC title match.
Declaration will also feature 11 fights total. The main card has bouts scheduled for Anderson Silva versus Forrest Griffin. This match is guaranteed to be amazing; these two fighters are extremely popular and immensely talented. Other fights on the UFC 101 card include: Amir Sadollah vs. Johnny Hendricks, Kendall Grove vs. Ricardo Almeida, Josh Neer vs. Kurt Pellegrino and many more.
UFC 102 Couture vs. Noguiera at Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon. UFC 102 will feature a battle of epic proportions, with the legend Randy Couture versus Antonio Nogueira. Both of these fighters are well known in the MMA scene as champions. It will be an aggressive match from these passionate fighters.
The UFC heavyweight and lightweight championship belts will both be on the line this night. You will find 5 matches on the main card including, Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva, Chris Leben vs. Jake Rosholt, Nate Marqardt vs. Demian Maia and Matt Hamil vs. Brandon Vera.
I have a good friend who lives in Portland, Oregon. He was just bragging about his tickets to UFC 102. I can’t help but be a little jealous, since I really love watching UFC. A pair UFC tickets for the Las Vegas fight is starting to look very tempting!
