The Lords of Jack in concert at the Viper Room in California!

Hello folks,

I have talked about the Lords of Jack on a few occasions since they played a show in Arizona back on April 26. Well, if you live in West Hollywood, CA, you are in for a real treat as the Lords of Jack play at the Viper Room September 26!

How about a quick refresher course? Lords of Jack were formed in 2006 by vocalist/guitarist David Loring. After some personnel changes over the years, the line-up now consists of Rozz Gallahar on lead guitar, on rhythm guitar is The Minister, the bassist is Jaime James and on the drums is Jeffrey Shapiro.

The Lords of Jack play a heavy, stripped down rock and roll, with a healthy dose of blues and metal added to the mix. The band members play off one another well and deliver a style of rock and roll reminiscient of a mix of 80’s metal and 90’s grunge, but do so without one hint of sounding generic. The Lords of Jack play rock and roll the way it should be played: tough; intense; and with an edge. This is done keeping that element that too many bands miss out on today. They are FUN to listen to!

Live, the Lords of Jack belt out their tunes with an infectious energy, with band members all over the stage, clearly into what they are doing. Loring has a great range on vocals, the triple guitar attack is powerful and the rhythm section of James and Shapiro balance things out, keeping the machine moving along. Keep your eyes on The Minister, he has a dominant stage presence.

I personally have not been to the Viper Room, but talking to people that have, I have heard nothing but stellar reviews. The Viper Room is an intimate club, holding about 250 people. However, this is no dive bar that just happens to host music. Ther Viper Room can boast hosting performances by Bruce Springsteen, Stone Temple Pilots and the legendary Johnny Cash. This is a venue that any band fortunate enough to play at will be playing to an appreciative crowd that knows and understands the dynamics of good music.

Lords of Jack are a band that understands the responsibility of playing at a great venue like this and are sure to deliver a knock-out performance. Get off your duff Friday, September 26, and make a trip to West Hollywood to the legendary Viper Room to see the Lords of Jack tear it up and deliver a set of classic rock and roll!
