  So I heard about this like last friday and i’m trying to keep it from my boyfriend because i wanna surprise him. My plan is to get the tickets and give them to him for valentines day before he even knows anything about this years Ozzfest. But valentines day is soon and i can’t find ANY info about how to obtain these tickets. On the official site it says to click on designated sponser links that will have tickets. There are only 2 sponser links on the page and neither of them have anything up about it. Im guessing that the actual ticket thing isn’t set up yet since they just made the announcement. So any suggestions or info that could help me out here?

  Tickets are not available yet, and I am sorry for any confusion. You have to keep your eyes on one of the two sites mentioned in the original post for more information. Once available, links will be up for you to follow to free OzzFest tickets. I am assuming this will lead you to some sort of form, and that tickets will be dispersed on a first-come-first-served basis, but that is just me speculating. Speculating may sound kinda nasty but it simply means that I am guessing - taking a stab at it so to speak. Maybe Sharon will announce a logon date in advance, so everyone has ample warning to join the frenzy. If we find it, we will post it. For now stay ahead of the curve and check one of those two sites as often as possible.

  Bands that agree to play at OzzFest 2007 will essentially be playing for free. Thus, Ozzy and Sharon have agreed to allow those bands to play at other local (pay) venues since they are playing OzzFest for free. So, look for some of the OzzFest bands to show up at other local (pay) venues in the cities which they are playing.

  Can’t believe this! We saw Ozzy at MY first rock concert (Master’s in Piano, e.g., Mozart) in 1997. Would love to take stepdaughter and friend, plus my wonderful niece Rachel and friend, not to mention hubby Bill! Come on, Nashville! We’ll have to rent a car and pay for the rooms to take them all, but I would really love to pass this on to the next generation! We Love You All!‚Ä°

  if Ozzfest is free than how come the ticket sites even have tickets for ozzfest…they should be free and not being sold on websites?? is it just me or is this starting to seem like a plublicity stunt….I hate to have to think that Ozzy and Sharon lied to us all to get more tickets sold….hell, I don’t think they could be more popular than they already are.

  Tiffany,

  Supposedly if you signup on OzzFest.com or LiveNation.com they will email you when free tickets are available.

  However, I’ve yet to hear of one person that has received notice of how to obtain these free tickets.

  LiveNation and Sharron need to release some news, so they can possibly save some fans like you some money.

  As far as being for sale, somebody obviously has gotten their hands on some tickets somehow and turned around and sold them to a ticket broker.

  Once those tickets reach the secondary market people will be paying for them, and as you mention, paying a lot for them.

  That’s the sign of a true fan though.

  If you find anything out, please post it here.

  Ozzfest tickets are free, i have a code for them myself, you have to buy the new ozzy ozzborn cd to obtain a code which you put in

  and whoever bought the cd for like 438 dollers, your mental!!! especially, if you listen to any ozzy or any bands that are going to ozzfest, you would know!!!! the list of bands that are going are on the site, it would be cool if slipknot and Marolyn Manson went but i didnt see them on there!!!

  I’m just as confused as you are about the free OzzFest tickets. I think the offer has come and gone but I haven’t had time to follow up on the story because I’m to busy talking my wife into letting me go to Slayer even though my first daughter is due to be born the same day. I told her, “honey, what better first-concert for our little girl than Slayer?”

  Anyway Sean - the beauty of comments is that sometimes, people actually comment with news and insight. I’ve seen some good comments regarding the tickets on this post, so be sure to read them all carefully.

  okay… here’s how it works… you go to the above site, get the code for free ozzfest tickets (each person’s is unique), and redeem your 2 free tickets on the day that it tells you. There are instructions on the live site.

  What I want to know is:
  The free tickets, are they to lawn, seats, pits, or your choice. It doesn’t seem to specify on the web sites.

  what a bunch of crap people are getting the “FREE” ozzfest tickets and selling them online there should be a way to stop it i know when i got my tickects my name is on them they should have said they would check the name on the tickects so those of us who want to go can and not to be scammed ny the losers who are takin the free tickects for profit im so pissed

  There are no more free tickets available. The redeem option is no longer optional. Too many people took the free tickets to sell for profit and they are out. ***If that doesn’t make everyone angry, I don’t know what will!!!*** Those people are natural born losers, scum of the earth.

  Have followed the earlier set of instruction as to how to get my free tickets and I have also logged on both site (have my confirmation number too! I even purchased the new CD prior to the release to the public as they said that would speed up the process. BUT I still have not received my free tickets!

  I see that they are on sale on e-bay… What’s up with that!
  I will be very disappointed if I miss this year concert and will walk away thinking this whole promo thing was nothing more than a rip-off!

  Q: for you I have the tickest no prb there but do I have to be there to use them they have my name on them but i can’t go so I gave them to my brother. Will they check for ID?
