It’s time to take the family to the ballpark. I see $5 MLB tickets all over the site today. I guess it’s because a lot of these teams are eliminated from the playoff race but what better time to take the family out to a game. Hell at $5 bucks a pop you can take the neighbors too.
Here are some quick links to teams with $5 tickets:

Remember, as teams exit the playoff race it’s a good time to find cheap MLB tickets. September is a great month to get a lot of people out to a bseball game at low prices. It’s one of those things where ticket brokers (scalpers to some) actually sell a lot of tickets below the face value just to get rid of them. Picking an unpopular oppnent and a game in the middle of the week will save you even more dough.

… and judging by the attendance at Chase Field thus far, I think a lot of you have forgotten that.
The Diamondbacks are defending National League West Champs and did advance to the National League Championship Series last season. With such a young squad, many “critics” questioned whether they were capable of duplicating that type of play.
So far, so good! Yeah I know, it’s early, but let’s take a look at what has happened the first two weeks! While teams that were supposed to crush everyone this season, like the Tigers and the Rockies, have stumbled out the gate, the Dbacks have played quality, fundamental baseball. Their pitching has been stellar and the offense has been simply ridiculous!
Going into action Sunday, April 13, the Diamondbacks are tied with the Cardinals for the most wins in the Majors, have a current 8 game winning streak and have the highest winning percentage.
Individually on offense, Justin Upton is third in the Majors and second in the National League with a .415 batting average, both Upton and Mark Reynolds are tied for second in the Majors and top the NL with 5 home runs and Reynolds leads the Majors with 15 RBI’s. By the way, both players are in their FIRST FULL SEASON in the Majors.
Pitching wise, Brandon Webb is 3-0 and tied with a number of pitchers for the league lead there, with Micah Owings and new Dback Dan Haren just a win behind at 2-0, Webb is 7th and Haren 8th in the National League in K’s with 17 and 16 respectively and all three pitchers have an ERA under 3.00: Webb 15th in the NL at 2.14; Haren 20th in the NL at 2.50 and Owings 21st in the NL at 2.63.
Again, I agree, it’s early, but this team seems to have the type of chemistry that the 2001 World Series Champions had, which is key in a race like this. The encouraging thing is the team is playing together well and individually, not everyone is dialed in yet.
Folks, get to the yard! This town got spoiled so fast with the team making it to the playoffs in only their second season and winning it all in their fourth. Last year the team was in contention all season and we consistently had a hard time breaking 35,000 in attendance in a park that holds over 49,000. It is tragic, but as a native here I have seen this for a long time now. Part of the reason is Phoenix does have an awful lot of transplants and I cannot blame those people. This is a great place to live! But come on people, I am tired of going to games and seeing so many Dodgers, Cubs, Red Sox, etc., fans in the stands. Support this squad and make this truly a place where the top players in the league want to play so as fans we can be this fortunate for years to come!

And they say brokers never offer tickets below face value. We’re evil. We price gouge. We ask rediculous prices. We’ll my friend we do a pretty good job of asking what the market demands. After all we don’t want to be left holding a ticket.
So for all of you that still hate ticket brokers I invite you to take advantage of our $6 Phoenix Suns tickets for tomorrow night’s game.

Super Bowl XLII is here. Reserve your Super Bowl tickets as soon as possible. The New York Giants vs the New England Patriots on February 3rd, 2008 and this is going to be a history-making game regardless of the winner.
The New York Giants battled through the odds on a three-game playoff road-trip to prevail as the biggest surprise in the NFC. Can they continue the ultimate Cinderella-story? Will the NFL see two brothers win back-to-back Super Bowls for the first time? What are the chances of that ever happening again? Will you be there if it does?
The New England Patriots are arguably the best team in NFL history. The AFC Champions have a perfect 18-0 record heading into the big game and are looking to place the final gem in their crown of 2008 perfection; a feat that’s only been achieved once before. Led by Randy Moss, Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick; will the ‘07 Pats become only the second team in NFL history to complete a perfect season? Will you be there if they do?
Look, we all know there’s a lot ridding on the Super Bowl XLII and I’m not talking about a sweet little Vegas payoff for my pick of the Giants to upset the Patriots 23-21 either. I’m talking about the chance to witness history and two teams determined to finish a season unlike any other.
There’s a lot to do surrounding the Super Bowl, so be sure to check out Super Bowl parties.
Prices are crazy for this event and there’s no way around it. However if you want to go, do yourself a favor and buy your tickets early ’cause they’re only going up in price as the volume drops with each ticking minute of your Rolo.
Super Bowl Ticket prices have reached $2,699 a piece just to get into the game on TickCo.com. The cheapest ticket I could find on StubHub was going for $2,925 unless you wanted to try your luck in an auction. Don’t even think about Ticketmaster. I don’t even know if they handle Super Bowl tickets but their newly acquired TicketsNow website is offering a pair of seats up high for $2,943. I bet you could check all of these prices tomorrow and they’ll all be higher, so my word of advice as a ticket insider; go with TickCo, we’ve already done all the work to find you the best price on tickets.
